the article below:
I will be completing
my B.E. in Electronics Engineering next year. I am interested in Information
Security and Hacking. Can I pursue it after my graduation as I am not from IT
domain? – Ms. Ragini Tandon
You can pursue a career in IT Security
after your B.E. in Electronics. You may look at M.Tech. or M.E. in Information
Technology. Also, there are certification courses such as Certified Information
Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) which
you can pursue along with your Masters degree.
I have completed my
B.Sc. Chemistry. But I have realized that I am more interested in understanding
human behavior and emotions, and would like to go for Psychology. However,
University of Mumbai does not allow me to do M.A. Psychology since I have not done
B.A. Psychology. Please help me. – Ms. Delfi Fernandes
You may consider M.A. in Applied
Psychology from Annamalai University or Bharathiar University or M.A. in
Psychology from IGNOU in Distance Learning mode. You may also pursue diploma or
certificate courses in psychological counseling in part time mode along with
the M.A. course for practical knowledge.
I have completed
M.Com. Now, I want to do MBA in Finance from USA. Please suggest some good
universities. – Mr. Savio D’Souza
You may check the list of top
universities using the following links: www.gradschools.com, www.petersons.com,
www.topuniversities.com. Also, check if the university you are applying to
requires an entrance exam and work experience.
I had secured 91% in
SSC. Since I got good percentage, my parents forcefully made me join 11th
Science. But I do not like Science, and I am more interested in Arts. But my
parents say there is no scope for guys in Arts. Please guide me – Mr. Arvind
Shetty
This is a totally wrong mindset we
follow in India that science is the best and art is for those who are weak in
studies. Parents need to understand that no career stream is good or bad. Arts
field has many options to pursue after your 12th. You may consider
designing, psychology, history, anthropology, law, sociology, social work,
political sciences, languages, performing arts, creative writing, and fine
arts.
