Aptitude Testing and Career Guidance Counselling at Army Public School - by Farzad Minoo Damania (Career Nurturer)

Career Nurturer was provided an opportunity to guide students of Class 9^th to Class 12^th at Army Public School, Colaba, Mumbai. The entire event was conducted by Farzad Minoo Damania (Career Counsellor and Founder at Career Nurturer)

Our program was a 2 day event:

7^th May 2014 – Aptitude and Psychometric Tests
10^th May 2014 – Career Guidance Seminar and Counselling

Session 1: 7th May 2014

Career Nurturer conducted aptitude tests for students of class 9^th up to class 12^th at Army Public School on 7^th May 2014. The purpose of the psychometric assessment was to help evaluate the aptitude, abilities and interest of the student which in turn helps in selecting correct career path after 10^th or 12^th grade.

Here are some snapshots from the Aptitude Testing Session conducted at Army Public School – Colaba, Mumbai on 7^th May 2014.

Session 2: 10th May 2014

Students were distributed their reports based on the aptitude assessment result on 10^th May 2014. Parents of the students were also invited for this session.

This was followed by power point presentation and guidance on various career options for students in science, commerce and arts streams. The discussion also talked about some new career trends and offbeat careers.
