Financial
Planning Standards Board India (FBSB India) provides Certified Financial Planner
(CFP) certification program which is an internationally accepted Financial
Planning qualification.
Students
pursuing their graduation studies, and who are looking to make a career in
finance or financial planning, may consider doing a certification course called
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) along with their degree.
You
have to complete the academic course of the CFP curriculum from an authorised
Education partner institute or by self-study, and then pass exams 1 to 5 listed
below:
Exams:
- Risk Analysis & Insurance Planning (Exam 1)
- Retirement Planning & Employee Benefits (Exam 2)
- Investment Planning (Exam 3)
- Tax Planning & Estate Planning (Exam 4)
- Advanced Financial Planning (Exam 5)
For

To
be awarded the CFP title, you have to complete the above mentioned exams, plus
have 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
